It also allows us to vary the material weights throughout the sail with stronger materials in the highly loaded leech, stepping down to lighter weights in the less loaded luff area.</P> <P>Fraser Plus construction may use our unique Panel/Patch technology. Rather than conventional reinforcing patches on the corners, the reinforcing is incorporated within the panels. The curved edges of the panels are carefully designed to ensure the correct amount of reinforcing as the loads diminish into the sail.
